Introduction to the Podcast
Episode 1: In this episode, I’m introducing you to the podcast.
I’m also introducing myself as a caregiver to a cancer patient. My better half is in the fight of his life with a stage 4, Hodgkin Lymphoma diagnosis. We’ve had a whirlwind of a time and we’re not even half way through the treatment process.
We are currently undergoing treatments so you’re getting a really fresh and raw perspective. We’ve had some good experiences and some horrific ones so we feel it’s so important to use our journey as a resource. Our goal is that our experience and this podcast becomes a resource for other cancer patients and their caregivers.
As the title suggests, this podcast and the information shared is mostly from the caregiver perspective. Resources are also focused on the caregiver.
This is my story as a cancer caregiver. Jose is telling his story and his cancer diagnosis journey on his blog: www.todaywithjose.com I encourage you to check that out. His perspective is both similar and different. We’re both walking our own unique journey.
It is our sincere hope that you find valuable information in this podcast that will help guide you and your family to a full and healthy recovery.
If you have not already discovered our first gift, please be sure and download our FREE Gratitude Journal. Your mindset as a caregiver has a great impact on the overall health of the entire household. Today, I encourage you to do this one thing for your mental and physical health.
